How the JFL Fluid Bed Granulator Works
The JFL equipment consists of six highly synchronized systems: Cold/Hot Air Supply, Air Purification, Slurry/Binder Treatment, Material Transfer (Feeding/Discharging), Automatic PLC Control, and Air Duct System.
Fluidization: Raw material powder is loaded into the hopper. Purified hot air (under negative pressure) enters from the bottom distribution plate, suspending the powder in a continuous “boiling” (fluidized) state.
Granulation (Top Spraying): The binder/slurry is atomized by the spray nozzle system and sprayed onto the fluidized powder, causing the particles to adhere and agglomerate into granules.
Simultaneous Drying: As the granules form, the moisture is rapidly evaporated and removed by the continuous flow of hot air, resulting in perfectly uniform, dry, and highly porous granules.
