The JZB-B Series Centrifugal Granulating & Coating Machine (also known as a Rotor Granulator or Spheronizer) is a highly advanced, all-in-one system designed for the pharmaceutical and food industries.

It ingeniously integrates three core functions into a single machine: Seed Core Generation, Spheronization (Granulation), and Film/Powder Coating. Driven by centrifugal force, friction, and airflow, this equipment is the ultimate solution for producing perfectly spherical, dense, and uniform pellets (micro-pills) with zero dust emission.

3-in-1 Functionality for Perfect Spherical Pellets

  • Extremely High Sphericity: Achieves a perfectly round, dense, and smooth surface for every pellet. The granule size is highly uniform, ensuring excellent product stability and a near 100% qualified rate.

  • True 3-in-1 Process: Eliminates the need to transfer materials between different machines. From making the initial seed core to building the pellet size and applying the final coating, everything is done in one enclosed rotor system.

  • Smart VFD Control: The turntable speed, powder dosing, and liquid spray rate are all controlled by Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) via a user-friendly HMI touch screen, allowing for precise and flexible recipe management.

  • Zero Dust & cGMP Compliant: Features a fully enclosed operation. The optimized airflow system ensures dust-free processing, prevents material loss, and allows for automatic cleaning and drying, fully meeting strict cGMP standards.

Working Principle

The Centrifugal Tumbling & Layering Process
The magic of the JZB-B lies in its unique rotor dynamics:

  1. Tumbling & Fluidization: Powder or seed cores are placed on the spinning centrifugal turntable. The combination of centrifugal force, friction, and a controlled slit-airflow creates a highly efficient “spiral-rope” tumbling motion.

  2. Layer-by-Layer Growth (Spheronization): As the particles tumble, the spray gun atomizes the liquid binder while the feeder synchronously supplies fine powder. The powder adheres to the wet surface of the tumbling cores, building up the pellet diameter layer by layer in a highly spherical shape.

  3. Simultaneous Drying & Coating: Hot air is continuously blown through the annular gap, drying the pellets as they form. Finally, atomized coating liquids can be applied to the same tumbling bed to create a solid, smooth, and controlled-release film.
